Roberto Cian, songwriter and guitarist, born in Este (PD) October 19, 1976 and resident in Calalzo di Cadore (BL) from the age of six years. Passionate about art music and rock music as a child, fifteen years he began to study electric guitar immediately showing a strong propensity to composing his own songs. At sixteen, with Elio Colamatteo and Marco Losego founded the first rock band, "Metempsychosis" as author-guitarist The following year the singer Fabrizio Olivotto joins the group. The band, with a few changes over the years (Matteo Floridia on bass, Gigi Cantarella on keyboards, Marta Mainardi vocals, Claudio Da Sacco to guitar, Roberto Cian on vocals) performs in Belluno and participates in several competitions, including "Emergency Rock" in Padova (PD) and Verona (VR). In 1997, "Metempsychosis" recorded a solo album entitled "Noi Liberi" and recorded at the Circle "Ubu Roi" Grea di Cadore (BL): most of the songs bears the signature of Roberto Cian. Meanwhile, Roberto worked with other bands and musicians, among them keyboardist Gianni Visentin and continues to study guitar with Jerry Litrico teachers (lead guitarist from Catania Malibran), Luca Arrighini (Stramonio, Target ...) and taking classes and seminars at the "lizard" Florence. In order to expand your musical horizons, he is also the study of classical guitar, obtaining the title of "Theory and solfeggio" at the Conservatory "Tartini" of Trieste, and acoustic guitar. After living a year in the province of Alessandria, where he worked sporadically with local artists, he moved to Bologna in 1999; here began his studies of Philosophy and Letters and begins his career solo singer-songwriter. In 2000 he performed in Pineto (TE) on the occasion of a festival dedicated to memory of Ivan Graziani and then worked with his friend singer-songwriter, poet and actor Massimiliano D'Aloiso. In 2001 he began recording a CD of unreleased tracks that will be released in March 2002 entitled "Music" and the participation of drummer Gianluca Schiavon (Vasco Rossi, Skiantos, Moltheni ...) and the aforementioned Gianni Visentin. In 2003, The CD attracts the attention of producer Paolo Fedi, owner of study "ARTEMUSICA" of Pistoia in this study Roberto recorded a new CD of unpublished works in collaboration with the aforementioned Gianluca Schiavon, Gianni Visentin and bassist Luke Massimiliano Di Lucchio, getting some verified at the local radio stations (2004). After completing his studies at the University of Bologna in 2005, the year following begins the teaching profession Italian and History, also continued writing songs and performing accompanied by his faithful guitar acoustics. 2005 is the year when he decided to further his studies in singing, starting methodical work that continues today with the teacher Mariagrazia Feltre. Back in Calalzo di Cadore, in 2006 he began to compose some songs with the writer-producer Marco Terreni, owner of "Alchemist Studio Production "in the province of Treviso: the work-collaboration, which lasted until 2010, allows Roberto to make a quantum leap and improvement in the songwriting. In 2011, performs a work of pre-production at the studio "Digital Sound" Vedelago (TV). Of course, in recent years does not neglect his live performances, starting to work with drummer Marco Mela Giacobbi. The 2012 is the 'year of the intensive processing flows in a new studio album entitled "gente Vera", published by "Choirtek Records "and with the participation of Federico Stragà and Siruan.
