Biography

Always passionate about music, he started playing the bass at a young age, gradually developed a passion for various musical genres and thanks to his experience with many small local bands, he began his adventure as a songwriter... In 2007 the "Compagnia della Lyra" brings on stage of Belluno's Teatro Comunale his first musical work "The Golden Lyre Opera", a musical which tells of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Some replicas of it in the same province have followed. In 2009 he finished the composition of  "Seltick Tock", a work about a subject always created by Mattia Gosetti. The musical tells the misadventures of a poor watchmaker who, victim of a curse, tries to flee as far as possible from the civilized world. Year 2010 sees the release of the musical "Il Treno Fantasma", the most gothic and obscure work the author has ever made: the madness of a hilarious and mysterious traindriver, trapped in a limbo in between life and death. In 2011 he founded Sirgaus, a band with his wife Sonia Da Col as vocalist and a lot of guests. With this pseudonym two CDs are produced: "The Album of Memories" (2012) and “Sofia's Forgotten Violin” (2013). A few live dates followed, including the debut at the Teatro Kursaal in Auronzo, event that will be called "The Live of Memories". During this period some videoclips such as "The Mirror in the Waves" and "Evening Lessons" were released too. In 2015 Gosetti participates with his wife to the Cover Contest set up by the famous band Nightwish; He won the first prize in the competition, readjusting their song "Élan" in a rearranged version and with Italian / cibianotto (the dialect spoken in Cibiana di Cadore) lyrics. Between 2014 and 2015, the author returns with its best product: "Il Bianco Sospiro Della Montagna", A fantasy story inspired by the Alpine landscapes, especially the small village of Cibiana di Cadore. Rock-symphonic harmonies of nature, a great soundtrack with a film impact that will pull you into a dream with a theatrical taste...
