Biography

Jazztronic is a project born from an idea of two old friends, Stefano and Luca, from Florence, initially to propose live songs. Subsequently Luca has increasingly increased studio production, making Jazztronic an autonomous project. Luca Bani, author of all the songs, was born in Florence around the 60s. Classical studies on the piano (never finished in truth) and early youth experiences as keyboard player in "oratorio" bands. The interest in synthesizers and the enormous musical curiosity led him over the years to participate in various musical experiences, going from Italian rock to new wave up to funky. Projects that mainly involved cover bands, even if in the meantime he "trained" in the composition by tinkering with loops, a Boss BR1180 digital and his beloved synths. The turning point occurs, precisely, in summer 2019, where our Jazztronic starts, determined to retrace its own path in the lounge chillout. A computer, a digital DAW and many VSTs become his natural environment, where he feels free to develop and transform his emotions into music. Rarefied atmospheres, sometimes world music, or simple sound "snapshots" generated by moods and sensations linked to everyday life, in the name of visual suggestion but which does not disdain the urban urban groove.
